Reemployment Assistance Claims Dashboard

The Florida Department of Economic Opportunity (DEO) updated their Reemployment Assistance (RA) Claims Dashboard for this week. As of April 29, 2020, the DEO confirmed that they received 916,002 unique claims and paid 416,683 claimants a total of more than $579.5 million in benefits. This dashboard can be found here:

Pandemic Unemployment Assistance:

The Federal Pandemic Unemployment Assistance (PUA) program provides benefits to those that may not otherwise be eligible under the state’s reemployment assistance program, including independent contractors and the self-employed. The state encourages individuals who have been impacted by COVID-19 to apply at Please visit the below links for more information on PUA:

Individuals should consider the following criteria to apply for PUA:

  • Individuals who applied for benefits on or after April 5, 2020 and were deemed ineligible will receive additional application information from the state. More information about these programs can be found here:
  • Individuals who are self-employed, contract employees, gig workers, or others who applied for the state’s benefits on or before April 4, 2020, should apply at
  • Individuals who are unemployed and have not yet applied for benefits should apply at These individuals will be considered for all existing programs, including PUA.


The state will conduct nightly maintenance to the CONNECT system to process claims and payments. CONNECT is be available from 8am to 7:59pm daily. However, this maintenance and schedule does not affect individuals that wish to file a new claim.
